But I think that’s largely due to Grendel’s improved hockey IQ and understanding of the game. He does a much better job of picking his spots, taking what the opponent gives him and not forcing the puck into problem areas. That doesn’t always translate to points on the board, but it certainly helps you prevent giving them up the other way.
