Saturday, December 11th, is High School Hockey Day in Michigan. This date is a celebration of high school hockey in the state of Michigan; an event that has been a staple in the calendar for the past three seasons.

There are more than 60 games scheduled, with more than 120 of the 138 programs in the state slated to be in action, according to The Hub.  Among some of the key events taking place on Saturday is the Adam Mitchell Showcase in Livonia, featuring all teams from the KLAA and MIHL conferences. The D-3 Showcase in Gaylord and the Holiday Invite in Jenison, among others.

All teams, players and fans are encouraged to join in the celebration on social media by using #MiHSHockeyDay2021.
