8/13/23 MHA Showcase – Cate is a good skater that’s been well coached. As evidenced by the way he tracks all the way back to the net defensively on a backcheck, and then sorts things out from there. He really gets into opponents’ shit along the boards and not afraid to engage. Very active physically and with the stick, I wouldn’t wanna play against him. Cate ended up scoring off a centering play in very tight quarters. He attacked the net, hit the top of the crease in the goalie’s face and redirected the puck in the net with a defender on his back.
